REMINDER - State/District/Posts are starting to use Internet access to distribute
information. If you have access to the Internet you will get your newsletter via the
Internet; if you do not have access you need to call the Post to KEEP your name
on the mailing list. If we do not get a response by 08/31/2008, your name will be
taken off the mailing list.
The next District 21 Meeting will be held at OUR POST on October 12, 2008
FUND RAISER - We will be selling raffle tickets for a Brunswick 8 ft pool table &
overhead light. Retail value is $3,200 - tickets will go for $10 each. The drawing
will be before Christmas.
The Ladies Auxiliary is selling cancer pins for $3 each. We are also collecting
old, broken or used phones to recycle for money. The money will be used to
purchase prepaid calling cards to send to our soldiers overseas.
Steak Night is August 9th from 6-8 pm, the Birthday Celebration is August 24th at
4 pm. Karaoke will start at 5 pm & this month is appetizer dishes. Every
Wednesday is burger & fries from 6-8 pm for $5 and every Friday night is taco
night from 6 pm to 8 pm.
